🤔 lots of telling, not enough showing in this book. The found family connections + the fights/conflicts between the MMC & FMC are manufactured out of nowhere. reader is left wondering if those were developed off page or why/ how! The romantic tension between the protagonists is shown on page, but not well developed. It’s like if this book was the sketch of a book but author didn’t care to develop it

Character development in this book is weak and plot predictable. Concept is good but the execution feel very forced and artificially manufactured- like if the author is following a recipe of how to write a romantasy
