I am not looking forward to the finale. This was a clusterfuck of epic proportions, with sex scenes galore and nothing of value. The characters are one-note stock garbage and the plot is non-existent. It’s just things happen, drama, random plot twists, and people occasionally die. Okay. Gods grant me strength.

What a load of shit this book was. I’ve said it a lot and I’ll say it again. There is NO plot here. I guess Astraea needing her memories back could facilitate a plot but it wasnt actively pursued. It just kinda happened by Nyte’s meddling. And then she became Lightsdeath? And then the ending it seemed all was lost and the conveniently she drew on her new power. But Nyte’s asleep forever now? Whatever.

What am I even reading? Genuinely.

Im dragging myself over broken glass to this fucking finish line. I dont think Ive read about a worst protagonist than Astraea. That may be hyperbolic but good god. I know she has amnesia but she has no confidence or spine. One minute shes pouring her heart out to Nyte, then she’s bending over backwards to please Auster. You cant have it both ways. Make. A. Choice. GOD.

Okay, after Auster’s stunt, she stills goes to Althenia and feels bad she doesnt love him. Look I dont care what the Bond is, but it doesnt mean youre forced together. Whatever. And hes so obviously sus and evil. Calling it now, Auster killed her because she didnt choose him, waaaaah. Seriously, fuck this book.

My god, this book is awful. It’s just one scene after another that are only slightly tied together. There’s drama but it’s… so soulless.

What am I reading? It is just scene after scene… of things happening. And it feels like nothing is happening. And there’s these random twists that come out of nowhere. Reihan is acting sus and surprise, he was capturing celestials, but now’s he actually the unnamed king who assumed his guise. And now he wants his son Nyte dead… because haha, im evil. And the Gods of Dawn and Dusk are… assholes. *explodes*
