Finished. This book wasn't disjointed. It read much more smoothly than the first book did. I enjoyed it more, as a result, though I'm still not all that enamored of Megan or Greyson.

100+ pages read = goal achieved! Megan just took a call from her mother, asking her to come home because her father died. I was going to continue on to Chapter Nine, but I'm not in love with this story so, when I realized I'd achieved my pre-sleepytime reading goal, I decided that now is a good place to pause. But first: Thankfully this second book doesn't feel as disjointed as did the first. :-)
