The tension of reading about the optimism and creativity dreaming knowing that this show crashed and burned has me on THE EDGE OF THE CHRYSLER BUILDING

Julie still comes across as controlling, even if it's in the name of art - she can't see past it. Glen has started to show some bad signs but I still think he's done everything to support her and the show while realising things are bad and they need change.
A negative about the book is Glen goes on these long metaphors constantly. More are great, but some just leave you scratching your head.

I'm surprised how badly Julie has come across, considering most of the reviews point to Glen coming across bad in his own book. Maybe that will come to light within the last 120+ pages but right now I disagree. Everyone has made every chance to convince Julie there's something wrong and she won't have a bar of it.
I'm very interested in this. The behind the scenes, the work of a production and what comes next.

Still don't love the narrator - real Woody Allen neurotic loser vibe. So far though it's been interesting, especially hearing about U2s involvement and how little they stayed on target.

Not the biggest fan of the reader so far. Don't think that'll change either. Hopefully the content wins out.
