Status Updates From Storm Singer (Storm Singer #1)

That flying scene was just beautiful. But can Shamshir be stopped? And what is that voice Nargis hears?

Thanks to Chand-k-Roshni, Nargis learns a lot of truths, each one more terrible than the last. And Tufaan was not a good person and still might not be. But why would anyone try to purposely sink Alamut? Did the guilty party believe the garudas were beyond saving? Side note, did the author really just make a six seven joke in the book?

Congratulations Nargis! You're now part of the Wild Hunt, along with Sheikhah, Mullah and their daughters, Yasmin and Ayesha. And so they continue onwards! And it seems Nargis might also be getting better with her powers.

So we have a mention of Nargis's father- Yudesh. I don't suppose they are both descendants of the legendary spirit singer (whose name I can not remember at all?) In any case, things have gone from bad to worse.

So we have our crew; Nargis the crutch-wielding witch, Captain Geedar, his daughter Tripti, Ammit the mechanic, Mistral the garuda prince, and Arjuna, Nargis' closest friend, former servant of Pandit. All trying to avoid Sickle (and her crew Quill and Ripper) and get to the Rookery. Surely it'll be easy, right? Probably not, but I am enjoying the book.

I will admit, despite Nargis being exiled to the desert, it doesn't really feel like we're in the desert though. Still, I really like her sassy character!

Nargis seems really mad. But who can blame her?
