Status Updates From Elegy, Southwest

Decided to DNF on page 69. It's moving a little slowly for me at the moment, it needs to be returned to the library and it didn't make the 2026 MF shortlist, so I'm not persisting. As another friend who read it said "Life is too short to read what you are not loving" Well written, I'm just not connected to the story nor the characters.

some cover get my attention, this was the case for this novel.
It so happens, that the writing is something else. I'm reading this slowly.
