Status Updates From The Crimson Triangle

I want to finish this book because I am genuinely interested in the plot line. I think this book has a lot of potential, however, I'm finding the writing style to be a bit difficult to read. The language can be quite flowery by using too many adjectives in a sentence when simple statements would suffice. The writing can be somewhat repetitive in terms of overly used words as well as repeating statements/feelings.
