The dialogue is so clunky and stilted. It's honestly uncomfortable to read.

Okay, I am liking the main character,Mila, and Hendrix (who I assume is the main male lead and only male lead) but I am getting really confused about the anonymous texts this girl is getting. Like…. is this a multiple love intrest book? Also them working at a tattoo shop may not be doing it for me but we will see 👀

Couldn’t finish it i don’t know if my brain is slow or the book is rushed and FMC was so childish i wanted to cry

right now, I need my girl and Milo is the biggest menace in the house. It's almost like he doesn't want me to have sex with my girlfriend.

“You want me to choke you?” I stay silent but nod. The biggest smile forms on his gorgeous face. “That’s my fucking girl.” He beams and I beam right back at him.

“But you’re not grumpy with me? You smile a lot more around me.” My face warms at her observations. “You make me smile.” I shrug, tucking my hands into the pocket of my suit trousers.

“She told me to,” I mumble. She didn’t. I just got overly excited one night scrolling through them.

“Since when have you been on Instagram?” Lawson laughs, staring at my phone with amused eyes. “Since Mila.” I huff, not finding it amusing at all. “She insisted I make one so I could follow her page.” “Bro, you have one follower, no posts, not even a profile picture.”

“I only like taking pictures when you’re in them.” He says lowly, pulling me out of the lift as soon as the door opens.

"Look at how pretty you are, Mila. Under all these lights. You shine brighter than anyone I've ever known."

“I wanna see how pretty you look all over.” He shrugs a shoulder, trapping his bottom lip between his teeth. “Show me how pretty you look, Mila.”

“Not tonight, princess. I’ve got stuff to do.” My smile falls and Hendrix’s eyes widen. “B- But I’ll take you tomorrow.” He rushes out, grasping my face in his big hands and squishing my cheeks, so my lips pucker. Oop.
