Status Updates From To Walk on Worlds (The Maxu...

Fun read so far. It will be interesting to see how the storylines come together.

Finished "A Fate Worse than Exile." The setting reminded me of the game Conan: Exiles. The relationship between Manus and Quent was intriguing.

"A Final Errand," a stort that feels like an S&S version of Rick and Morty: a sorcerer drags a warrior through an interdimensional adventure. Surprisingly touching end.

Just finished "Cries from a Sleeping City," in *To Walk on Worlds.* I read this in *Book of Blades II,* enjoyed it then, and enjoyed it now. I wonder if Matt had been reading David C. Smith at the time, because this story captures the atmophere of some of Smith's horror adjacent S&S in *Tales of Attluma.*

I just finished "Gift of Gallah," the fourth story. It was awesome, kind of tragic, in a Ray Harryhausen sort of way: lots of monsters are fighting and dying but there's an emotional aspect of it. Liked this one a lot. It made me think of watching kaiju movies with my brothers growing up. Weird personal connection.

Just finished, "the Circle," a creepy tale about a weird concept that could have been treated in an old Twilight Zone episode.
