This book was described as a spicy slow burn.... I'm almost a third of the way through... Everything and nothing is happening all at once. There's no spice, but there is LOTS of longing and miscommunication.

What the fuck am I reading? No offense, but is she trying to seduce the king when they first meet, or is she trying to be cringe and make everyone uncomfortable? The scenes beforehand where they skip through time are slightly boring and not of importance, yet somewhat decent to read, nonetheless. It's simply hard to follow a bit at times when the MC isn't doing anything other than lounging around in a private quarter
