I'm a judge in the YA category for the Realm Makers Genre Awards this year, and Capturing Today (the sequel) is one of the finalists, so I figured I'd read Saving Yesterday first so I know what's going on. :) It's good so far!

I love Gabby & Michael together. They push each other in the right ways, out of comfort zones and into trust neither of them know how to have. Also, the interplay between free will and the God-figure's sovereignty is interesting.

Having to stop in the middle of a chapter to go back from lunch. This is so absorbing & readable. Gabby is a great narrator. And Michael! He's a great non-brooding hero. I love that he can smile & tease Gabby yet he takes life seriously, too, and I want to know the secrets that sometimes sadden him. Good characters.

So many mysteries. What I know so far: Gabby's voice is delightful, and I'm intrigued what will happen next. In other words, I'm in so far.
