'Til Death Do Us Part by Cynthia Murphy: I'm convinced that short stories aren't my thing because I am NEVER satisfied with the endings! What the hell was this, dude? 1.5 stars, 0.5 for the creepy finger nail/hair pin bits.

The Beast and the Beast by Rachel Faturoti: I think if you listen closely you can hear the steam coming out of my ears. 1 star.

The Midnight Kiss by Mary Watson: I honestly think I'm running out of ways to say that these stories suck. This was going SO WELL until the ending, and then just *pbbbt*. BOOOO. 2 stars.

Something Wicked by Kat Dunn: Jesus Christ, this was insufferably bad. This MC deserved to have her shit destroyed. She deserved death, to be honest. Holy fuck. 1 star.

The Chiming Hour by Amy McCulloch: I actually don't know what the fuck this was. Like, okay, I understood the plot, but this was not "chilling", this was just fucking stupid. Oh my god. 1 star.

The Party by Louie Stowell: Not scary, not "chilling", not even funny. This was pathetic to the point that I feel more than justified giving it 0.5 stars.

And The Waters Crept In by Dawn Kurtagich: The best in the collection so far, I just really wish this particular story had committed to the bit I thought it was going for. Still really good, but just... not 100% what I expected. 3.5 stars.

The Visiting Grey by Kat Ellis: Another shit ending totally ruining the story for me :/ 2 stars.

Saint Clover by Melinda Salisbury: This was good and fun and cyclical, however, I don't actually like this type of cyclical, so uh...2.5 stars?

The Wolf and the Witch by Maria Kuzniar: This was good enough, definitely better than everything else so far. The ending fucking sucked though (aka it wasn't what I wanted), so I docked a star. 3 stars.

Come Find Me by Kathryn Foxfield: Do not piss me off. 1 star.

The House With Teeth by Amy McCaw: What the actual fuck did I just read? Nothing really happened?!?! 1 star.

How To Disappear by Rosie Talbot: No. Just... no. I did not care, and therefore I'm disappointed. The plot twist was more visible than a fucking hi-beam. No. 2 stars.
