I'm setting a limit here. If the traumatized rape victim asks any man to have sex with her so that she can feel alive again, or like a woman again, etc. I'm going to DNF the book...probably rage quit and leave a livid review.

I'm having a hard time with this one. So far there has been very little about the post-apocalyptic world, pirates or the supernatural and a whole lot about a rape victim, terrified of men and trapped with a boatload of them. I wouldn't have picked it up if I'd known the focus was on rape. I avoid such books. But especially since it's all being handled very very badly by the author.

I loved chronicles of riddick so it's good to get a little insight of riddick when he was younger.
