“You don’t have to Leap in and try to do something whenever you are uncomfortable. When you’re in a difficult situation, you don’t have to try to make everything perfect. You can just relax with your discomfort. That ability to be with emotional issues is being passionless.”

What does this look like when you’re angry?

Being patient with it. Being still in it. Breathing through it.

“A dharmic person does not run from emotionally confusing situations… you don’t have to Leap in and try to do something whenever you are uncomfortable… you can just relax with your discomfort.”
I’ve been observing this in myself lately as i meditate.
Simply sitting in the awkwardness has become a type of fun game.
Allowing myself to breathe in and take a pause instead of interjecting unnecessary words.
