Status Updates From A Haunting in Hialeah Garde...

Thats a bit long to wait for the interesting stuff, I feel like the author is playing with fire a bit to wait that long to positively engage with the premise. i.e. there ain’t no haunting stuff til halfway thru.

Audiobook. 60% in. I’m digging it and not digging it at the same time. I find the inadequacies of the protagonist pretty annoying, which is kinda good because it means I care about them and the story, and kinda bad because the decisions seem like poorly veiled plot devices.

The is well done but coasts along until about halfway thru when it finally starts engaging with the premise of the title.
