Status Updates From Mastermind

I feel like I’ve been barely reading because of school this year :(

Of course I had to start a fanfic while reading a sci-fi book
First months of the year are always difficult reading wise for me

“Yeah, sad,” James muses. “I always wanted to be part of the 27 club. ”

“Don’t worry, there’s still time for you to die,” Marlene jokes.”


I’m looking at the MCD tag real suspiciously rn‼️‼️

“You’re a good guy, James,” Evan says. “If I wasn’t in love with someone else, I’d totally date you.”

“Hey, Remus. Remus. Come on. We’re getting kidnapped, apparently.”



Remus frowns. “Boyfriends or terrorists?”



“Boyfriends,” James clarifies.

“You’re a good person, too,” Regulus adds.



“I’m really not,” Pandora informs him matter-of-factly. “I have, like, two grand in unpaid parking tickets, and I’m wanted for fraud in Nicaragua.”



“You know, when you say stuff like that, I never know if you’re joking or not.”



“Let’s keep it that way, shall we?”

“Just because Narcissa and I don’t agree, that doesn’t mean you and Draco can’t be friends.”



“Oh, I know,” says Harry.



“Why aren’t you friends with him, then?”



“Because he’s a twat.”

He steps back into the office ten minutes later, hoping his lips aren’t too swollen.



“Was the coffee machine broken, or something?” Lily asks, eyebrow arched.



“Oh,” says Remus, suddenly aware of the lack of coffee in his hands. “Yeah, uh… just ran into Mrs Bagshot. Got distracted. I’ll go get it now. Bye.”



Lily mumbles something about scatter-brained men.

“Regulus Arcturus Black, do not tell me this guy said he loves you and you just slammed the door in his face and left.”

“I didn’t exactly slam the door, but yeah.” Regulus pauses a second. “Oh. That’s not – that’s not what you’re supposed to do in a situation like that, is it?”

“You have the emotional intelligence of a damn carrot, do you know that?”

“Maybe you can tell me what you do to James’ skin to make it look so… sunny? Sirius is always so pale.”
“Hey, I’m right here,” says Sirius.
“Yeah, we see you, babe, you’re basically a walking spotlight,” says Dorcas.
