In chapter 14-15 the language finally came to its right 👀 But I’m realising that the frustration I have towards the language use, is carrying over into frustration at the story itself and that really sucks 😔

Dialogue makes it so much better, but it is still full of variations of the same sentence multiple times in a row and the words that are being used to describe their moods and actions are being overused and run down quickly. I feel sorry for Jagger and my heart aches for him, Malla is annoying and refuses to really see things from Jaggers point of view, Chatterbox is the interesting character that has much to learn.

I’m so excited to finally start reading this book and I WILL finish it because I love the character, Chatterbox 🤡 But if the first 40 pages is any indication of how descriptive and full of constant use of the same adjectives and verbs this book will be, it will be difficult to enjoy the story it has to offer that otherwise starts out with a thrilling situation 🤡
