This book is written like a child who has just learned how to curse and is trying to write the worst bad guy they can think of. I hope the whole book isn’t like this

So I listened to about half of this in one sitting while I was doing other things and I really don't know how I'm feeling about it other than meh?

I like the female poisoner character and her story, I like the idea of the prince & royal assassin duo, but not super compelled by the rest? honestly the issue might just be that the audiobook isn't good?
