Her writing style is so unique and interesting. I love it!

It wasn’t until she’d gone back inside and sat down next to her cooling cup of tea that Viv remembered that she hadn’t told Jasper Renner her name.

There's something a bit frustrating about this mystery. It is basically unsolvable by the reader, since it is deliberately keeping information from the POV character. It is such a common problem with these urban fantasy mysteries that like to rug pull at the end with a "You FOOL! How could you not have known Fork Goblins leave little triangle footprints behind?!" when it has literally never been mentioned before.

Kind of obsessed with the fact this is set on the Yarra. You know, like I am usually set on the Yarra.
