I want to stop constantly fleeing from the places I have lived in, out of complete distress, dropping my possessions behind me as if they’re dead weight. I *want* my life to have a weight to it, a substance; I want it to be able to take up space. I want to be comfortable, to offer comfort and belonging to others. And I want to finally be able to move slowly enough that every day doesn’t feel like an emergency.
