Status Updates From In the Abyss: (H G Wells Ma...

I like how it is a short story. It was easy to get through and follow along with. I would recommend this to someone who likes to read books along the lines of mythical or on the high fiction level.

It’s not necessarily my type of book, but it did the job! I most definitely wouldn’t add it as a favorite. There were some times I was like ooo, and other times I thought that’s interesting. 🤔

The buildup to Elstead’s descent was tense, and now that he’s deep underwater, the descriptions of the glowing beings and their world are both eerie and fascinating. Wells does a great job making the deep sea feel mysterious and otherworldly. I’m curious to see where this goes
