Status Updates From Witness of Gor (Gor, #26)

I have almost all of the old paperback Gor books in my collection. I started reading this series in my late teens, and wanted to read a new book to see if I still like this sort of book or if I no longer like it. I am a very different person than I was when I started reading this series.

So, more than half through and we have had couple of bites of the main meal ... I think it is a talent to be able to stretch a book with only a minimal amount of information to such a degree! I mean it! if I was editing, out of those 400 pages I would have cut it down to 100 max. and that allowing for all the description and propaganda! and nothing would have been lost ...

Wow! 150 pages and more with no advancement in the story whatsoever and only a cringe -worthy monologue of a slavery praising "property " girl! How is it even possible for an author to write such meaningless and redundant soap -box tirade over such incredibly voluminous space achieving no progress in plot?!?!?!? I hope there is a point to all this ...
