Cute substory! Love how the plot thickens with the secondary character; psychiatrist to vet???

This chapter is easier to keep up with than the first chapter. Likely because I am getting more familiar with the format. I like how the cat’s “adoptive” environment changes, along with the character’s struggles.

Interesting end to the chapter. It’ll be interesting to see how the next chapters compare as there is only 5 chapters in the book.
