This story is going at a really slow pace, not sure how long I'm going to hang on to this. I'm almost 4hrs in and I know there are some attractions between the two but I have to say I am getting a little bit bored.

the WHOLE time i thought he was just adopted or something and suddenly he just casually drops the bomb that he was kidnapped (while visiting his dad who kidnapped him) like huh
he was just like yeah we're (him and the love interest) gonna visit my dad in prison cause he kidnapped me
like guys do you wanna talk about that??? the love interest didn't even ask about it

This book actually pleasantly surprised me. I went into it without much expectation but it was actually really good! The story felt real, and same with the interactions between the characters. It didn’t give off fake vibes! I reallyyy liked Jude and Blake’s story and the third act breakup made me feel so sad! But they made it work and it was a perfect ending. The whole kidnapping this was an original twist
