Kane was the dragon that flew Arwen to Shadowhold. She patted his neck by accident.

The twist is noteworthy. I’m getting major Gild vibes. Not only is Kane Slade-like with his dark shadowy power, but Arwen is becoming Auren. Even the names are similar. Auren becomes strong and is a force in the end. Arwen is angry and has the power to destroy nearly everything in her path. Kane calls her bird. Slade called Auren goldfinch.

Kane is giving Slade vibes. His power can basically rot people. Vines shoot out and a dark shadowing power does the killing. That was hopefully the last secret Kane held. The only part I dislike is that both Arwen and Leigh are scared of him now. I understand Leigh; she’s a child. But Arwen has faced hell and back with Kane. How can she doubt him for a minute?

Dagnabbit!!! They were interrupted again!!! They have basically professed their love - at least Kane has, but she hasn’t even cum yet!!! Torture!
