I'm glad Desmond got taken out first. He deserved it, but I'm still really thrown off by the "Beast in the basement" chapters. It feels like the author is trying too hard to be mysterious and just ended up coming off as cringe and wattpad-worthy.

I'm not sure if I want to keep reading this (especially not staying sober). I've read better work on Wattpad in 2012.

Really good so far, I love that each chapter is explaining each character and then the ‘beast in the basement’ tells you little secret about each one so you have some kind of insight on them!
