this week’s progress. feel like the book is repeating itself quite a bit, and i’ve been so tired on the train lately, so not much progress has been made

am i a bad jew if i say im getting bored of this book

this week’s reading update.

i didn’t realize how little background info/context readers would be given about what went down in the soviet union btwn the holocaust and wiesel’s visit. wiesel just kinda keeps referencing it, occasionally elaborating on what russians tell him it was like, and i’m like 🤷🏻‍♀️ i know nothing 🤷🏻‍♀️
