Status Updates From La liga de los presos

I am super excited to start with this book bc it’s written by a prison abolitionist activist who wants to end the New Jim Crow. The book takes place in a society where it has become normal to watch people who are incarcerated fighting against each other like gladiators on TV. Very dystopian but I already like the analogies to the current system.
