Status Updates From Проводжальниця Фрірен, Том 1

Zoltraak is my favorite early episode of the anime (enhanced beautifully by Evan Call’s music by the way). I love getting to read it. The anime is very faithful to the manga so far.

Wait!! Eisen favorite dish is sour grapes!! Earlier on in the volume, Fern mentions they found a spell to make sweet grapes sour and there was a flash back of Frieren excited to have Fern try them!

Not a whole lot of stores can do the back and forth in a time line. I think it can work but it works particularly well in manga. Really well for Frieren. You can really see her change and the Easter eggs from other times

I’ve decided to do a read through of this manga. I know it’s ongoing and on hiatus to a degree but I keep rewatching the anime and I want more!
