Starting to lead me into a bit of a crisis

the interlude — wow — such a fun way to break up the novel & for me really solidifies Nunez’s voice as the author separate from the narrator’s voice

Loving this so far. Just read the ladies’ conversation on the role of men in society and literature — the reaction I have had to it has made me realize how little faith I have in men as a whole. Because yes — “… there is a form of bravery particular to men…. I have benefited from it. We all have.” while also — “much of the danger people find themselves in is caused by men.” The modern man is 👎

Als ich nach ein paar Wochen zu diesem Buch zurückkam, fing ich von vorn an da ich nicht mehr hervorrufen konnte, was geschehen war.
Irgendwie passend, da das Buch auch damit beginnt, dass die Erzählerin berichtet, dass es ihr ebenfalls so ergeht.
Grund für mein Vergessen ist wohl die Gegebenheit, dass hier erstmal keine klassische Geschichte erzählt wird ,sondern es sich eher wie einzelne Erinnerungen liest.
