Status Updates From Splendid Little Schemes

I appreciate that the book recognizes that MLMs are predatory and horrible but it also explores why they get so popular among certain groups of women. The lack of safety net and independence, the need to feel like you have something of your own, the isolation.

The message of this book clearly isn't "women who join MLMs are evil"' but more "MLMs prey on the desperation of vulnerable women to make money"
