started this yesterday and have been eating it up. I KNOW I KNOW, I can’t believe I’m reading mafia 💀 (if you know me you know I don’t typically pick up a mafia book)

Eek, this book is annoying me. Take this quote for example "My ass hurts with every stride until I reach my room and go to take a shower." The author keeps using the wrong words, creating sentences that don't make logical sense. Here, she doesn't mean his ass stops hurting once he gets to his room. Really, he stomped away to take a shower, conscious of his sore ass with each step. My poor neurospicy brain hurts!
