Status Updates From Angels of War

It dragged a little in places and rushed through the liberation. I would’ve loved a little more of that and the homecoming. Also I don’t think the author has a lot of experience with toddlers of 18 months of age. I thought the beginning of the nurses captivity didn’t truly show how brutal i had heard it was but that was my mistake. This book was heartbreaking. I’d like to read more like this.

I’ve read a bit in world war 2 historical drama set in Europe and Australia but this is the first set around the Japanese and their pacific takeover. This one is not as brutal as it could’ve been written once they were taken captive.
