Damn… this book is equal parts cloying beautiful and terribly devastating

Giving myself permission to DNF this one for now. I’ve stopped and restarted it a couple times because it’s beautiful and compelling but it’s too much for my mental health right now. Hoping to be in a better place to come back to it another time because I really do like it a lot.
