I don't think I've ever had a more disruptive reading experience as I've had today. Aaargh.
I almost want to quit and start again when everyone leaves me alone.

I only just inhaled this fantastic debut novel in March of this year but I want to read it to my book club buddie D. She needs to know the beauty that is Art and the adventures she encounters in Elizabeth's Watasin's Victorian London. And there is so much to absorb, you can easily read this book every month if need be ;-)

WOW The world building in this book is spectacular. The writing style is not an easy-readable one, though.
Two reanimated characters as detectives (see cover: a female ghost and a scull) are the most funny and absurd idea I've come upon in a long while.
One must gravely consider that something reanimated is afoot in London, devoid of soul and capable of a single purpose: Death.
