Really, after that tasteless chapter I'm just trying to power through the final pages of this book, but it's getting harder.

64 pages left.

Not gonna lie, that whole scene just lowered the rating for me.

108 pages down, 108 pages to go.

This book is a little all over the place, but it reminds me of the movies SyFy used to show all the time, so I'm really enjoying it.

The one buying and doing meth is currently the voice of reason.

And gasoline and matches are now involved, and none of these things are for the creature that's currently ripping people to shreds. No one even knows about that yet.

Meth has been brought into the picture unexpectedly.

So much for getting to page 108 lol. I fell asleep right after page 94.

I was wrong, I am not going to be able to finish this tonight, but I'm at least going to try to get to page 108, which is the halfway mark.

Ah, yes, the obligatory sex scene. Can't have a SyFy B-Movie/Book without it lol.

This entire fight that they're having, where they're wishing one another were dead and telling the other they hate one another, is over sixty dollars and a cornhole game.

Some overenthusiastic part of me believes that I can finish this book tonight. And although I have work in the morning and that it might be a bad idea, I'm going to try!.

It learned how to open doors!

I love that the beginning scene for the second chapter is basically a homage to the beginning scene of "Friday the 13th Part 3 - 3D".

At least that's what I'm getting from it, because the scenes are way too similar to be a coincidence. I mean, from the store, to the bickering couple, to the diet talk.

I just really love it.

That all escalated extremely fast.

After two failed attempts at finding a cosmic horror novel for my Halloween Bingo Card, I finally think this is the one for me. I forgot I had this book, honestly, but I do like Michael Cole's writing style and how his works sort of feel nostalgic. So I hope this one works out, because I won't allow myself to change books again.
