Status Updates From Fever Beach

Interesting but not quite the same kick as some of Carl's classics, Bad Monkey and Razor Girl. I'd rather see more about Andrew Yancy. Fever Beach is topical, a little tropical but maybe too much junk in the trunk (i.e., adult sex toys) and fascination with radical groups into masturbation. The kinky stuff was excessive and I'm certainly no prude.

Carl Hiaasen is a long standing favorite of mine, and as usual his dry sense of humor and depravity was endlessly entertaining. The current climate of our country almost made me question if I was reading non-fiction instead…
