I thought I had already experienced every single feeling there was on earth, which up until that point I knew to be: (1) Chaos. (2) My Mother Is Gone. (3) Everyone Hates Me. (4) I Want Something but Can't Have It. (5) We're All Going to Die or Are Already Dying. And (6) Please Love Me. Turns out there were more feelings than that.

Very poetic, story adjacent writing. I guess a memoir IS a piece of fiction in the sense that our memories are fallible and egocentric. We're trying to knit the material of our lives into a cohesive whole.
