Status Updates From Cliffside Kidnapping: A Har...

Ryder and Sophie got kicked out of the casino by the bug bad mob boss. Sophie’s parents work on a hack that will disable all the power in their building so they can escape.

Rider and Sophie are at a casino to investigate all of Cromwell (dirty cops) money laundering. While the other part of the team is climbing up to an abandoned ski resort to see if Sophie and Robbie’s parents are being held there.

Ohhhhhh, I think we are about to get a smut scene between Sophie and Ryder. Not sure how I feel about it being in this book since her parents got kidnapped. I mean as The Band Camino says "do what you gotta do"

Ooooo we got our first suspect. A high school baseball star who did the hack to get money for college. Weird how the star of the team has no scholarships but whatever. Now it looks like we are going to his pov

It seems like our books chapters start with the parents/ kidnappees pov then go to our investigators
