So Sir Caleb and Achan are helping Cole by giving him advice about how to continue his investigation. but I do not like how Baz and Nath are baiting Cole and trying to get reactions from him

Oh dang! This is getting exciting - half murder mystery slash romance with Christian fantasy

I love Cole and Mistel’s dynamic! They are so fun!

Also, I wouldn't really categorize this within Christian fantasy as there's really not much about Christianity to even hint at it in the most subtleness of ways. At best it's still a really well written fantasy and I might finish the rest of the series. But so far I don't know if there's anything that has convinced me enough to own the series.

It's good so far, has effigies as part of some investigation to one of the side characters main roommates. Great romance subplot so far, and live the worldbuilding.
