Status Updates From The Staircase in the Woods

Is this staircase even accessible?
I can't imagine having a character on a wheelcahir or with a rollator and them not being able to risk their life to climb the staircase!

This book should end with Lore leaving Owen and the others behind. I hate Owen so much. Also we’ve reached critical “the C O V E N A N T” thresholds now. Fully expecting a chapter that is just them whispering “THE COVENANT” back and forth meaningfully to one another.
