It seems to me that Sun & Steel is written so incredibly vague & meandering for no other reason than to appear profound. So many words just to say that the author found joy in exercise

Not a lot to grab onto here. A few scant images. No history. I get that it is a mediation but it’s too airy. Not to mention it is nihilistic.
