Status Updates From Khozhdenie po mukam

Finished the 2nd book “1918”. Revolutions and contra-revolutions, names of commanders, soldiers, war facts and plans -hard to follow for a non-historian. I didn’t enjoy the battles’ detailed description in the cities I’ve never heard of. Anarchy& chaos. As in the first book, I follow the unfortunate fate of sisters and their husbands who chose different sides in the war but remained respectful to each other

Finished the first book “sisters”. It’s a touching story describing the start of revolution and its influence on the fate of families. It also touches upon the unhappy marriage of one of the sisters as well as hopes and aspirations of the other sister. Very humane.
