Status Updates From Embermere

Well, I had to finish it to see how it ends. Well written, but no surprises really - only Ruby's fate,but even this was somewhat expected. This was the first time reading a book of this genre, and, frankly, probably the last.

A creeping sense of dread unfurls with every turn of the page, making my skin crawl.

I still love the eerie atmosphere. However, either I'm good at guessing or the storyline is too predictable... I hope I'm wrong.
