Interesting, but incredibly repetitive

My adhd made this really difficult to focus on. I feel like I understood the point of the story but did not get to thoroughly enjoy it. It’s a story that I will have to revisit.

“That night something of youth and beauty died in the elder world.”

“Toil without song is like a weary journey without an end. Were not death more pleasing?”

“Wherefore do ye toil; is it not that ye may live and be happy? And if ye toil only that ye may toil more, when shall happiness find you?”
