I’m already so confused

This is wonderful. A fascinating quotation: “O alienate from God, O spirit accursed, forsaken of all good; I see thy fall determined, and thy hapless crew involved in this perfidious fraud, contagion spread both of thy CRIME AND PUNISHMENT.” Is that where the name comes from? 🤯🤯🤯

wowwww so good. I mean really really incredible. I'm not surprised I wasn't able to read this in high school when I tried but now that I have a larger vocabulary and am much more knowledgable about epic poetry this was such a good read. I mean I have some personal objections to Milton's theology in some aspects but the writing was just so incredible. Every word was vivid and full of life and really invoked...
