have a feeling i'm going to hate this but book club obliges. it's funny because being an anglophonic book club but by and for french people, we end up having books on our list that i have NEVER heard of in the anglophonic sphere, but whose translations did well in france and thus. this is apparently viewed as an "important book to understand british people" and i am tired in advance
