man Randles is good at digging up really obscure cases, you can see the classic Betty & Barney Hill type abductions crystallize over the 1950s and 1960s but Adamski type Nordic Aliens later turn up well into the 1980s
one thing she notices is that outside Westernized cultures typical abduction cases are much rarer and she speculates that's because those cultures filter similar experiences through different lenses

I find it curious there are so many UFO sightings with time lapses like with abduction cases, but the witnesses do NOT go into hypnotherapy to recover the lost time that often as the popular cliché goes
also in the UK people kept meeting Adamski type Nordic Aliens well into the 1980s, when common wisdom says they had been displaced by Greys

amusing reading about really fanciful UFO contactee cases from the UK + Latin American that do not fit into the Betty & Barney Hill/Whitley Strieber narrative templates at all, a couple almost sound like something from the 1990s computer game series "Commander Keen"

been recommended this by a friend of mine who's even more interested in UFO stuff than I am, and borrowed his copy - Randles always offers an interesting perspective so I am looking forwards to this
