I went to Gardner-Webb with Gaby, and although we had mutual friends we didn’t spend time together except for maybe on opposing intramural indoor soccer teams. She always seemed like a fun, interesting, loving and well-loved person. I followed her cancer journey at a distance on her blog but getting the longer story in her memoir was really special to experience. Thanks Gaby for sharing your inspiring story!
