What a fun group of short stories! My favorite was Mother Earth Turned to Dust. Having them read by so many known voices was neat too.

"the princess in the clouds"

My favorite so far because it's a bit longer than most of the stories so far and that allows it to develop characters like the mouse and the woodpecker.

A thing that I noticed is the whole story I imagined a setting typical of european stories until I read the word "hut". It looks like in every culture we have stories like this where "humble" creatures transform and become much more.

Real cool stories that "explain" why the world is the way it is. Almost every culture have stories like these.

My favorite so far is the sixth story about Nandy promising the serpent her daughter. The real hero is the daughter because she was brave enough to keep that promise.
